It Ends with Us follows Lily Bloom across two timelines: her adult relationship with neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid and her teenage bond with Atlas Corrigan. When Ryle's behavior begins to echo the violence Lily witnessed at home, she must decide whether understanding a person's history is the same as excusing the harm they cause.

The 60-second answer

What is It Ends with Us about?

It is a contemporary romance and domestic drama about how abuse can coexist with affection, remorse and good memories. Lily's central choice is not simply between Ryle and Atlas; it is between repeating a family pattern and creating a safer future for herself and her child.
